The probes can be used to inspect and verify both genders of PC and APC termini. Two models are available:
SMX-Scopio (digital),
SMX-Scopio-A (analog) .
SMX-Scopio is a digital inspection probe for visualization of connector end faces and detection/analysis of connector defects. SMX-Scopio features high resolution, automatic fiber detection/centering and Pass/Fail criteria based on IEC and/or user defined standards.
SMX-Scopio comes with the SMX Scopio Inspection Software Package – a powerful analytical tool for connector end face verification. Inspection results are stored in the database and detailed reports can be generated or recalled in .html or .xls format.

SMX-Scopio-A is an analog inspection probe to visualize connector end faces. It features high resolution, allowing detection of contamination and scratches as small as 1 micron. The system comes complete with a portable, rechargeable lithium 3.5" TFT display.
No external power source is needed; simply plug into the supplied 3.5" TFT display via the standard 3.5mm connector.
The 3.5" TFT display is supplied with a wrist strap and bench stand.
